Nicholas Mrozinski
Making music that speaks to the thinkers, seekers, lovers and dreamers of the world, Nicholas Mrozinski's Powerful Vocals, Liquid Piano and Purposeful Songwriting has been connecting with people on a deeply human level. The music has a powerful healing quality as recognized by its broad spectrum of listeners.
The Press has compared Nicholas to the likes of Van Morrison, Tom Waits, John Lennon/John Legend, The Allman Brothers, Bruce Springsteen, Huey Lewis, Jerry Garcia, Leon Russell, Aaron Neville, Billie Holiday, Jackson Browne, and Dr. John. And although the comparisons are somewhat warranted and nice, his sound is undeniably original.
Common elements in his music include: Soul, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Traditional R&B, Country, Reggae, Pop, Latin, Hip-Hop, New Age, Cinematic and even the occasional Klezmer Stylings.
Nicholas creates music we want (and probably need) to take the time to LISTEN to - a rarity in today’s Top 40 music climate. The free-flowing energy, power and being that shape his songs truly define art and creation, in their purest form and clearly sets him apart.
Nicholas and his own Label, Wake the World, are among the emerging trend of Conscious-Capitalists and Eco-Entrepreneurs. Giving back, helping, connecting and sharing are as big a part of their business model as turning a profit. They want their passion to sustain their life and strive to maintain a position where they can help others at the same time. All of their CD packaging features "green" design, using only recycled materials and FSC certified board. Nicholas and his label hope to reach out and connect with other like-minded organizations and individuals and are openly seeking volunteer opportunities. Feel free to contact us.
Mrozinski and Wake the World, plan on releasing ten albums over the next five years. Mrozinski has already amassed hundreds of original songs, making his ambitious plan a very achievable goal.
Nicholas is currently working on a new, yet to be titled, CD with Dylan Nau of Gold Standard. The new album is due out in the Spring of 2009. This will be Nicholas' fourth release and third solo album. Nicholas also recorded 2008's "The Sacred Play of Life", under his moniker, with a full supporting cast as The Feelin Band. Nicholas has many other projects already underway including some exciting collaborations. We'll keep you posted. Always check the news page and www.myspace.com/thefeelin for the latest.
